Five Courses:
The Power Boating Academy is proud to offer five different, on-water driving courses. Each hands-on course is tailored to your needs and conducted by certified professionals.
The General Course:
This popular course for men and women covers all the basics and is guaranteed to raise your boating skill from its present level.

The Ladies Only Course:
Same as the general course but for ladies who prefer to learn with other women.

The Youth Course:
Designed for ages 11 to 17 covering the basic to intermediate driving operations to put a youth’s boating knowledge on the right track.

Personalized Private Instruction:
One on one and family instruction sessions are offered to those who want us to hold the course at their location and for those who may have purchased a new boat.

The High Performance Course:
This course is designed for those with a need for speed. How to handle a fast boat for your own safety and the safely of those around you. A must for Poker Runners where you can improve your skills in launch and recovery, docking, pre-flight inspections, navigation aids, throttling and setting your boat up for maximum performance.

Each of our courses will give you the boating skills and confidence you need to be a better boater. Expect a high-energy, fun-filled, high quality learning experience. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and instructors will review each segment until students comfortably understand each segment. You will polish skills and receive driving tips that will make your boating safer, save you money as well as taking all the worries out of docking.

If you do not have your “Pleasure Craft Operator Card” yet – the one required in most states and Canada to show you understand the “rules of the road” - you can obtain one during any of our on-water courses for an additional $40.
